Softelligence joins Teach for Romania

We are happy to announce that Softelligence joins Teach for Romania in supporting easily accessible education for all the children in Romania.

Teach for Romania is a non-governmental organization, partner of the Teach for All global network, which seeks and trains valuable people, with or without previous teaching experience, to become kindergarten or school teachers in public education, for children in vulnerable communities.

As a company that values social responsibility, Softelligence believes in the mission of Teach For Romania and their efforts to ensure quality education, to reduce inequity, and to develop essential life skills among all students.

We also believe in giving back to the community and supporting causes that align with our values. Through our sponsorship, we’ll definitely contribute to the important work of Teach For Romania and help provide the necessary resources to make a difference in the lives of children across the country.

Why support Teach for Romania

In Romania, 1 in 5 children drops out of school by the end of 8th grade. There are over 1000 public schools where no student passes the 8th grade national assessment. In the rural areas, there are 7th graders who do not recognize all the letters of the alphabet.
