  • Over 5 years of work experience in a similar position
  • Insurance industry/systems experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to discover and document requirements and recommend alternative technical and business approaches;
  • Inquisitiveness, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn new products
  • Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in working with Agile methodology is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of SQL/ Reporting is an advantage

Key responsibilities

  • Acts as a SPOC for internal and external parties involved in the project in different stages of the software development process, such as pre-sales presentations, gathering requirements, solution design, functional and user acceptance testing.
  • Assesses the current state of the business and IT landscape to identify gaps, transition, and integration requirements recommend improvements, and define the acceptance criteria.
  • Produces requirements documents and user stories at an appropriate level of detail and clarity in order to provide a common understanding between business stakeholders and development teams.
  • Communicates effectively: Able to facilitate business requirements workshops and deliver high-quality and detailed diagrams, reports, and presentations as needed.
  • Works closely with the delivery team daily: developers, testers, product owner, and delivery manager in order to ensure the team keeps the product vision and priorities in mind.
  • Assists with usability and functional testing and recommends corrective and preventive actions if required
  • Demonstrates product functionality to showcase achievements within the project
  • Participate in handover, end-user training, and deployment activities. Provides consulting and technical support to the end-users
  • Ensures that workflow and internal (IT) procedures are applied within the business process and it is in compliance with external and internal regulations and procedures
