Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be responsible for the analysis of complex business software solutions and who would deliver high-quality documentation for the implementation and development teams. Our new colleague should be flexible, motivated, able to adapt in a dynamic environment, able to efficiently communicate with other development team members, pro-active in finding new ways for improvement.

 

Requirements

  • University degree – preferable computer Sciences or related technical disciplines
  • Over 3 years of work experience in a similar position
  • Basic knowledge of SQL/Reporting would be an advantage
  • Experience in process mapping and use-case driven design techniques
  • Experience in BPMS and Modeling Workflow automation projects is a plus
  • Experience in various types of business/industries
  • Familiarity in working with iterative development
  • Ability to work with design and analysis formalization tools: MS Visio, MS Excel, MS
  • Word, modeling languages: UML/UMT (not a must)
  • Familiarity in working with Agile methodology would be an advantage
  • Technical and analytical skills
  • Negotiations skills
  • Ability to control situations
  • University degree – preferable computer Sciences or related technical disciplines
  • Very good English skills (both oral and written)

Key responsibilities

  • Define business requirements and provides counseling and support in defining business functionality;
  • Translates business requirements into functional specifications and system design specifications according to set standards;
  • Work closely with the technical architects to identify the best business solution and analyze the ability to change the application environment, assesses the impact of changes in the existing environment: application, infrastructure and operations;
  • Assist the implementation with business information during the technical analysis;
  • Act as liaison between entities (IT and Business departments) and IT solutions external providers. Defines parts of Requests for Proposals towards external providers and follows up with them in relation with requirements clarifications;
  • Ensure that workflow and internal (IT) procedures are applied within the business process and it is compliance with external and internal regulations and procedures;
  • Tests the applications (internal testing) and takes part in UAT;
  • Delivers training sessions to key customer users regarding the implemented applications.
